Take care that the boat is not left too long in the elements to dry, as this may cause the wood to dry too quickly and crack or split.

Keep your wooden boat in top condition by occasionally applying a thin coating of linseed oil, and then wiping clean.

When drying, please do not put on a heater, as this may cause cracks in the wood – simply let dry at room temperature.
