WILD STORIES – Polar Bears
Did you know?
The polar bear is the world’s largest land dwelling predator, with male bears growing over 3m (10ft) tall.
A polar bear’s fur is not actually white. Each hair is a clear hollow tube. Polar bears look white because each hair reflects the light. Polar bears have been known to swim 160km (100mi.) in one stretch.
